Empowering Girls Through Education
Education is one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives and building stronger communities. Guided by this belief, the Guru Gangeshwar Devki Bhojraj Kanya Vidyalaya was established in 1980 by the Founder Trustees of the Seth Bhojraj Hassomal Charitable Trust in sacred memory of Late Smt. Devki Bhojraj Chanrai, with the blessings and support of Guru Gangeshwar Anandji Maharaj and Guru Gangeshwar Ashram.
Nestled in the spiritual town of Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, the school was founded with a singular vision—to provide quality education to girls from economically underprivileged families and empower them to lead independent, confident, and meaningful lives. By offering education at a highly subsidized cost, and in many cases completely free of charge, the institution ensures that financial limitations never become a barrier to learning.
Over the years, the Vidyalaya has nurtured generations of young girls, equipping them not only with academic knowledge but also with the confidence and values needed to shape their own futures. Many former students have gone on to pursue higher education, creating a ripple effect of positive change within their families and communities.
Recognizing the importance of preparing students for a rapidly evolving world, the school also provides access to a modern computer laboratory, enabling girls to develop essential digital skills and broaden their horizons beyond the classroom.
As part of its enduring commitment to education and women’s empowerment, the Seth Bhojraj Hassomal Charitable Trust continues to extend its wholehearted support to the institution. Through this initiative, the Trust is doing far more than supporting a school—it is nurturing aspirations, creating opportunities, and empowering young girls to become confident individuals who can contribute meaningfully to society and inspire future generations.
