Bhojraj Scholars-Scholarship Program

“Bhojraj Scholars” scholarship program is envisaged to provide financial support to economically backward meritorious students for pursuing their undergraduate education. The eligible students are provided a scholarship amount of 50% of their annual course fee (as prescribed by Mumbai University). This scholarship support is for the entire 3-year period of their undergraduate studies and the continuation of support year on year is based on the fulfillment of certain academic criteria by the selected student.

Some of the identified courses for scholarship support are as under: –

• Bachelor of Computer Science (B.C.A)
• Bachelor of Mass Media (B.M.M.)
• Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance)
• Bachelor of Commerce (Banking & Insurance)
• Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Markets)
• Bachelor of Management Studies (B.M.S.)
• Bachelor of Information Technology (B.Sc. I.T.)
• Graduate in Nursing & Midwifery (Nursing-G.N.M)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum 60% in their HSC (XIIth) examination or the last examination conducted.
• Family income should not be more than 3 lakhs per annum.
• The applicant should not be availing any other scholarship.

The scholarship amount is reimbursed to the student on submission of fee receipt for the payment made. The continuation of scholarship support for subsequent years is based on the satisfactory attendance and good academic performance of the student along with a positive feedback from the Institution. The student should also pass all the subjects in the same academic year and should not have any ATKT (Allowed to keep term).

Active periodic participation from the College / Institution in jointly reviewing the academic progress of the student is mandatory.

A formal agreement has been entered into with 18 colleges in Mumbai to extend this support which will benefit more than 400 deserving students.
