NASEOH – Job fair for persons with disabilities.

NASEOH conducted the yearly job fair for persons with disabities on 10th January 2020.

National Society for equal opportunities for the Handicapped- NASEOH in association with Seth Bhojraj Hassomal Charitable Trust- SBHCT, conduct the yearly Job fair program for the persons with disabilities. This event attracts a lot of response from the disabled people across Mumbai city, to enable them to get placed in suitable employment opportunities.

During the Financial year 2018-19 , 335 persons with disabilities were provided job placement opportunities through this event.

The job fair for the year 2019-20 was conducted on 10^th January 2020 at the NASEOH facility in Chembur. Over 950 Job aspirants in the category of Locomotor Disabled, Speech & Hearing impaired and Low vision attended the Fair. Around 45 Corporates put up their stalls looking to employ the persons with disabilities from the sectors like Banking & Insurance, BPO’s, Hospitality, Facility management, Retail, consultancy, IT & IT enabled services etc. Some of the major Companies who participated in the event were TCS,J.P.Morgan,Accenture,LIC,Tata AIG life, D Mart, Reliance Fresh to name a few.It is expected that at least 250 to 300 persons with disabilities should get final placement through this effort.
